TWUC AND THE LEAGUE ARE SEEKING PROFESSIONAL WRITERS

pexels-photo-46104The Writers’ Union of Canada and the League of Canadian Poets are seeking professional writers to research and write two “How-To” booklets:

Self-publishing How-To Booklet
The booklet will provide information for authors with unpublished or previously-published materials who are seeking to self-publish their work.The booklet should be a minimum of 6,000 words and include reference lists of self-publishing companies, programs, and other materials. A thorough outline will be developed by the Union in consultation with the author before the commencement of the project. The fee for the project will be a minimum of $3,000. Promotion and Publicity How-To Booklet
The booklet will provide information for authors on promotion and publicity.The booklet should be a minimum of 6,000 words and include reference lists and other materials. A thorough outline will be developed by the Union in consultation with the author before the commencement of the project. The fee for the project will be a minimum of $3,000. For each booklet, the successful candidate will:

  • Be a professional author with experience writing instructional materials.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
