Tree of Heaven by Bänoo Zan

Why do I worry
about heaven?
Have I lost my way
to earth?
.
Tree of heaven
is on earth
going through fall
.
stripping out of her leaves
with no innuendo
.
her sap unable to stop the loss
(After Babel
we are not of the same
mind—
.
the universal lost to
the animal)
.
Her roots
cover revelations
.
Climbing her statement
with queries
.
I cannot summarize
the distance
Caught in my skin
I cannot realize
her exudation
.
She worries about me
.
Her leaves falling
under my buskin
.
Will we meet
in this life
after life?
.
Will we be lost
to death
after death?
.
Tree of Heaven,
what are you doing
on earth?
.
Have you lost your way
to heaven?
.
