SPOKEN WORD- SHARING NEWCOMER EXPERIENCES is the event where Spoken Word Artist Amani aka Anne-Marie woods will present a poetic and creative version of her personal story as an immigrant to Canada and some of her triumphs and challenges she was able to overcome. This presentation will be 1 part storytelling and 1 part interactive as she teaches the youth participants motivational chants and cheers to highlight their newcomer experience.
