ON: sound one two

April 1, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre is pleased to present sound one two, a night of poetry exploring the unfolding time of the reading itself, where each action–from the initial “sound one two” of the mic check to the readings and the mingling following the event–contributes to the temporal experience of the evening. This event will feature readings by bill bissett, Armand Garnet Ruffo, David Batemen and Aisha Sasha John on Saturday, April 1, 2017. This event will launch poetry month in Kingston, and we are excited to host sucha diverse range of poets. Live audio beats will be performed by Burning Iceburg between sets, and the evening will conclude with an open mic allowing local artists to share their spoken word and poetry.
