TANIS FRANCO READS AT LIBRARIE DRAWN + QUARTERLY

August 10 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Tanis Franco in a poetic exploration of the way spaces influence bodies in the world, of unnatural places in natural territory, of the body in transition as it changes with other bodies.

Quarry is Tanis Franco’s debut collection. It examines queer social spaces and contested natural spaces, asking how they affect each other. It eschews traditional narratives of the queer and transgender body, bringing nuanced ideas to an ongoing social and political conversation. It interweaves sensual language and impeccable craft to create a moving poetic experience.

Librarie Drawn + Quarterly is located at 176 Bernard West.
