Author and Lecture Series -Presents Local Wordsmiths at the Toronto Public Library(St. Lawrence Branch) 171 Front Street East @ 7pm (60minutes) two local writers who follow different paths to get their work out there. Anne-Marie Woods aka Amani is a playwright, a spoken word artist and has produced and directed her own plays. Ewa Jarmicka was a journalist in Montreal and has chosen to publish her memoirs on Wattpad. Anne-Marie will read an excerpt from her play She Said He Said, as well as some of her spoken word from the script and talk about her passion and struggles as a wordsmith.
