Julie will work with classrooms of students discussing the reasons why poetry is important for the future of humankind and why it is fun. She will get them writing their own poetry and she will instruct them on the finer points of reading their own work in front of an audience. In the mornings she could do two classes and in the afternoon she would like to work with smaller groups of students who have expressed an interest in writing and reading poetry.
