The Mosquito by Chad Norman

.                       On the bench
where I have sat
                      during rapid-passing years
                      and drank many
.                       still-chilled beers
                      I enjoy another
.                       a new drinking buddy
                     lets me know
                     its intention is
                     not to drink with me
                     but to
                    drink from me.
