Hang Tight by Ruth Panofsky

By League of Canadian Poets | March 16, 2023
Poem title: Hang Tight
Poet name: Ruth Panofsky
Poem: Looking out
the kitchen window
winter sun
bright on
my mother’s
precision clothesline
undershirts
boxers and panties
followed by socks
pinned together
in perfect pairs
skirts then shirts
sleeves brushing
waistbands
dancing lightly
in taut
sharp wind
End of poem.
