By Nancy Daoust

friends call her Imelda Marcos

delighted she can wedge

her misshapens into such hobby

feet knowโ€”

Libras are slave to trends

luxuriate in this

penchant weakness

lenient wallet

pop culture loves; Fluevogs,

Converse, Free People, Vans

feet want moreโ€”

Queens of the Stone Age

shoegazing Beach Fossils

moshing Alice in Chains

ovating Iggyโ€™s wild grace

Just a Girl yelling

shut the fuck up

fallen flat arches, hammering toes

feet need more
