incandescent

By Krista Carson

iโ€™m hazy, fetal

in this river

of bedsheets.

when i enter

this electric pain,

i am inwardโ€”

migraine.

until it fades,

and i unfurl

my self, wildโ€”

a soft, crazy petal.
