Plunder

By Eleni Gouliaras

Stolen words
               commas,
                             ellipses:

How can you
ever repay
                                           the words you lifted
                                                                        off my tongue
as I formed them?

               How?

Recant.

Disappear
into a wilderness:

               you do not belong
                                              here.
