untitled by missy nicks

By League of Canadian Poets | January 27, 2023
Poem title: untitled
Poet name: missy nicks
Poem: worn thin

my body kept
s t r e t c h i n g
as if some
invisible force
flattened me
rolling pin
extending into eternity
until i was unable
to distinguish
my body and the water

one

a belly button
focused, center

a reminder,
my ties
End of poem.
