We are all stardust

Stars die and explode
flinging their ashes
into the cosmos โ this stardust
forms all life on earth. You
are the living incarnation
of those faraway celestial bodies.
You bring the stars to life.
When your poor
earthly heart breaks,
look at the midnight sky.
The starry splendour
the glittering galaxies โ
you are the beauty.
