Woman Seeks Body

By Susan Wismer

Convivial companion

pliant and kind not overly given

to pain. Strong steady

heart, generous hands

Play piano, love

naked laughter, wide feet

curvy legs. Avid reader,

enjoy hikes, be

Willing to travel together

to ash, bone shards

compost: what we have

to offer

is our lasting

to calcium curves

of a snail shell, beach pebbles,

gossamer.
