Congratulations to Diana Manole for her winning poem, “Lovers” winner of the 2019-2020 Very Small Verse Contest!
Diana Manole is an award-winning writer, translator, and scholar. She has won fourteen literary awards, published nine collections of poems and plays, contributed original works and translations to magazines and anthologies in Romania, Canada, the US, and the UK. As a native Romanian writer, Manole has published nine collections of poems and plays. Her poems have also been translated into German, Polish, Spanish, and Albanian.
LCP Cold Moon Contests
The Very Small Verse Contest invites and challenges poets to submit a poem at least six (6) words in length but no more than two hundred (200) characters.
The League of Canadian Poets Cold Moon Contests, comprising of the Very Small Verse Contest and Broadsheet Contest are run annually November 15 – January 20, and winners are announced on World Poetry Day (March 21).
